USHERING WEALTH in Feng Shui practice

LEARN FENG SHUI
Ushering wealth in Feng Shui practice

Although most people associate Feng Shui with symbols, real Feng Shui is primarily about assessing the Qi contained in nature and generated by time and people. Being a complex art and natural science, Feng Shui consists of many techniques for using the energy Qi based on specific reference points, starting from the nearby landscape. What also matters is the property’s facing, sitting, and door orientation, to mention some.

  • THE WEALTH-GENERATING LANDSCAPE FEATURES

The influence of the landscape on our lives can be significant and enduring. Specific landscape shapes symbolize the Five Elements, which have their significance. For instance, square-shaped mountains and hills are considered auspicious regarding wealth. To benefit from this type of energy, we need to discover ways to connect with the Ju Men energy of our surroundings.

  • THE INFLUENCE OF TIME ON QI

The time affects both nature and man-made structures. In Feng Shui, we evaluate the influence of time through cycles and periods. There are nine periods in total, and during each period, the eight directions become either more Yin or Yang. Specifically, four of the eight become more active during specific 20-year periods, while the remaining four become more passive. To ensure the prosperity of residents over a particular timeline, it is ideal to design a property that conforms to the Yin and Yang principles.

  • SPECIFIC WEALTH CREATING FORMULAS

When natural water is nearby, it can be utilized to increase wealth. However, in cases where natural water is not available, a potent formula called “Water Dragon” can be created to attract wealth. To implement this formula, specific terrain configurations, precise design of water flow, and achievement of certain degrees for water entrance and exit are required. The water must pass through the house and flow in a Yin or Yang way relative to the property.

Several other formulas are available to enhance prosperity, but the most well-known is the “Five Ghosts Carry Treasure.” It involves matching the mountain, water, and door facing per Na Jia.

  • GOLDEN DEGREES

In Feng Shui, there are golden degrees, also known as Jewel lines. These degrees are famous for bringing prosperity.

  • PROSPEROUS DOOR AND THE CURRENT PROSPERITY STAR

Opening of a Prosperous Door is a well-known Flying Star method. To open this door, which is supposed to usher prosperity for 20 years, one home’s Flying Star chart has to contain the “Current Prosperity Star” at a door location/facing.

  • SHENG QI LOCATION OF HOME

We use the Ba Zhai method ( “Eight Mansions”) to find the home’s Sheng Qi location. Then, we can activate the Sheng Qi location—or its Na Jia. This type of activation doesn’t necessarily need to use water or fire. Sometimes, it’s just about spending time here, having an open view, huge windows, a main entrance, etc.

  • ACTIVATION OF THE PERSONAL WEALTH LOCATIONS

Of all the numerous ways to activate wealth at home, using personal wealth locations to achieve this goal is the most specific. Naturally, it will primarily affect certain individuals’ careers and wealth.

  • ACTIVATION OF THE SPECIAL ANNUAL STARS

This type of activation will affect all residents. Still, the gain will go mainly to the breadwinner and those who have personal connections with the locations of the annual stars (could also be their wealth locations).

ACTIVATE, BUT – BE CAREFUL

Wealth activations can be an excellent way to infuse one’s career and wealth with energy. The best activations are long-term, where natural water is used, or where we create a water stream or a pond. Another option is to use roads to bring in Qi, but their effectiveness depends on how busy and close to home they are. Ideally, we want to achieve harmony, like San He, with a main gate or front door because having a good combination – involving a good Flying Star – will multiply the effects of the activation.

On the other hand, short-term activations are ideal for those who don’t have great Feng Shui in their location. Activations are also a simple solution for those who don’t want to wait for Flying Stars and Current Prosperity Stars to work for them.

For those living in apartment buildings, short-term activations, including annual Flying Stars and other stars, might fulfill all their needs. Water is often used to activate wealth, although fire could also work wonders—or a combination of both in Da Gua activations.

Recently, I helped a client who wanted to sell a property. She placed water at a particular location at 11 a.m., and by 4 p.m., she had already sold the property without putting any adverts.
