Flying Stars Good and Bad<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

\u00a0<\/h4>

The Flying Stars System is essential in Feng Shui practice.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

It is typically used to place the property and access its potentials<\/strong> as well as to determine how it will affect the future<\/strong>\u00a0 of each occupant.<\/span><\/h4>

\u00a0<\/h4>

The Nine Flying Stars (which represent nine types of energy) are central to the Flying Stars method.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

Each Star<\/strong> has their own distinctive properties<\/strong> and inherent strengths<\/strong>. Their types of energy and ways that they can affect a property can vary<\/strong> due to several influences \u2013 the environment, the property\u2019s design, time, interaction with the other Stars and Palaces they enter, and the level of activity in the area<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h4>

The Nine Stars<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>

The Stars are bodies of Qi<\/strong> that carry different qualities<\/strong>, starting from polarity (Yin\/Yang<\/strong>), the Elements (The Five Elements<\/strong>), and through the related Trigram (The Eight Trigrams<\/strong>). <\/span><\/h4>

Interestingly, the Star\u00a0 5<\/strong>\u00a0 does not have its own Trigram\u00a0and its nature is neither Yin or Yang.<\/span><\/h4>

\"\"<\/p>

The Fire and Water Element Stars<\/strong> have split polarities (one is Yin while the other is Yang) while Earth, Wood, and Metal Stars can appear as both Ying and Yang.<\/span><\/h4>

\u00a0<\/h4>

The most benevolent stars are the White Stars (Stars 1, 6, and 8).<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

The White Star that has the most favorable timing is Star 8, also known as the Noble Star or the Current Prosperity Star. <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

\u00a0<\/h4>

Sheng Qi<\/strong> is attributed to Purple Star 9<\/strong>, which comes in the next Period<\/strong> (2024), while White Star 1<\/strong> (the Distant Prosperity Star) will become the Sheng Qi in Period 9<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h4>

While\u00a0all Nine Stars can display positive and negative qualities, each Star\u2019s predominant nature is either benevolent or malevolent.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

Generally, the White Stars 1, 6, and 8<\/strong> are considered to be positive, and Purple Star 9<\/strong> is defined as neutral.<\/span><\/h4>

Stars 2, 5, and 7<\/strong> are classified as negative.<\/span><\/h4>

The effects of Star 3<\/strong> depend mostly on the other Stars.<\/span><\/h4>

In the company of malevolent Stars 2, 5, or 7, Star 3 can express its negative side.<\/span><\/h4>

The rule of thumb is that the location of the Current Prosperity Stars indicates the area with the most beneficial Qi, as its direction enables a property\u2019s occupants the opportunity to tap into the source of Wealth in the Current Period.<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/h4>

The Current Prosperity Star (Period 8: 2004 \u2013 2023) works best for a property\u2019s occupants when it appears at the property\u2019s Main Entrance<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h4>
