Feng Shui Nine Periods, Three Cycles<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

Time is a crucial factor in the Flying Stars technique.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

The Qi in nature rotates in Cycles<\/strong> (One Great Cycle = 180 years<\/span><\/strong>), Periods<\/strong> (one Period = 20 years<\/strong><\/span>; nine Periods combine into one Cycle), and lastly, years<\/strong>. <\/span><\/h4>

The previous change came in Period 8<\/span><\/strong> (2004), with the next change expected by the arrival of Period 9<\/span><\/strong> in 2024<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h4>

The changes of Periods affect the general strength and favourability of each Flying Star.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

Every new year empowers \u2013 or diminishes<\/strong> \u2013 specific Stars<\/strong>, simultaneously affecting the energy patterns<\/strong> existing within the property.<\/span><\/h4>

One great 180-year cycle comprises of three\u00a0sixty-year cycles.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>

Each sixty-year cycle consists of the three twenty-year smaller cycles: Upper, Middle, and Lower. <\/span><\/h4>

The table shows that we are currently experiencing Period 8, which will last until 2024 when Period 9 begins.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

Period 3<\/strong> started in 1904; the related Trigram was Zhen, Thunder.<\/span><\/h4>

MIDDLE Cycle<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

Period 4<\/strong> started in 1924; the related Trigram was Xun, Wind.<\/span><\/h4>

Period 5<\/strong> started in 1944 (no Trigram).<\/span><\/h4>

Period 6<\/strong> started in 1964; the related Trigram was Qian, Heaven.<\/span><\/h4>

Feng Shui book review<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>
\u201cI am always on the lookout for new Feng Shui books to add to my collection. I must say I\u2019m quite happy impressed with this book. It is so comprehensive and it reveals many of the secrets that I learned from taking expensive live Feng Shui classes that I had paid big bucks for in the past few years. This book is written so methodically that would make it easy for a beginner to follow and learn from. To me, this book has far greater value than the more expensive books from other authors that I have bought previously based on its contents and the level of knowledge it imparts to its readers. I almost signed up for an expensive online class offered by a famous classical Feng Shui master and I \u2018m glad I didn\u2019t because this book covers exactly the same topics which that online class offered. I saved almost $1950 by buying this book instead. If I am to teach a Feng Shui class in the future, I will definitely use this as my class textbook.\u201d<\/div>
