Feng Shui Journey<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>

Today, when Classical Feng Shui is wide spread in the West, obtaining real Feng Shui knowledge become more available then it used to be 20 years ago, when I started my Feng Shui journey.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

However, the most popular sources are still the Feng Shui books<\/strong> and Feng Shui forums<\/strong> and groups<\/strong>, which are also the least costly.<\/span><\/h4>

When it comes to books, they presumably offer very different levels of knowledge, which cannot be easily guessed either by the title or the blurb.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

Thus, it takes reading a lot of books<\/strong> (and posts), to become able to differentiate reliable information from everything else and to find the most efficient methods for the own practice. I personally favor\u00a0the work of\u00a0Stephen Skinner, Eva Wong, Derek Walters<\/strong> and Vincent Koh<\/strong>. You should not skip reading\u00a0Joey Yap’s books<\/strong>, because he is a prolific author and a great teacher, who works on himself and who brought this science on a whole new level.<\/span><\/h4>

At one point of time, your passion can challenge you to decide for costlier ways of learning: attending Feng Shui courses…<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

However, although the course fees can sometimes count in tens of thousands of dollars<\/strong>, this is also not a guarantee that one will ever master the practice or become an excellent practitioner<\/strong> eventually. <\/span><\/h4>

The situation with learning real Feng Shui is not easy also because of different lineages<\/strong> and thus the ways to understand<\/strong> specific information and apply<\/strong> certain principles. Both to the novice and even to the experienced Feng Shui practitioners, it may seem that some ways are contradictory<\/strong> to the others, and they often cannot achieve the results<\/strong> they were hoping for.<\/span><\/h4>

In addition, those who can\u2019t read Chinese, may find themselves in less advantageous situations in their Feng Shui Journey, because they won\u2019t be able to read some important original Feng Shui texts.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>

Sometimes, an eager Feng Shui student just don\u2019t have other choice, but to attend the same courses with the same Feng Shui teacher year after year, hoping to connect the dots<\/strong> and finally became able to stand out in their practice.<\/span><\/h4>

So, what is the secret of some outstanding Feng Shui practitioners, who can achieve real results?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

I would say that obtaining the genuine knowledge<\/strong> and working hard<\/strong> is essential, although we should not underestimate the influence of personal luck, which also plays important role in every accomplishment. <\/span><\/h4>

Experimentation is also important here, because only case studies can show us what works in certain cases \u2013 and what doesn\u2019t. <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

Although not many teachers would say this aloud,<\/strong> Feng Shui practitioners – and everyone who aspire to become one – have to master the Four Pillars Chinese Astrology<\/strong> (also known as Ba Zi), in order to make better assessment of the current situation, and to construct the most efficient tailor-made Feng Shui solutions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h4>

All said should just remind us that one\u2019s Feng Shui journey doesn\u2019t end after reading numerous books or even after completing the series of courses<\/strong>, which can provide a certain title. <\/span><\/h4>

Mastering real Feng Shui is long and demanding journey, where only one\u2019s own practice might show what works and what doesn\u2019t\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>
